About Juliette
Juliette Britton is a creative strategist, consultant, and community-builder with a deep background in food, design, and meaningful hospitality.
She most recently made her mark as the founder and creative force behind the J.J. Hapgood General Store & Eatery in Peru, Vermont—an iconic space known for its elevated retail, rustic fare, and unmistakable sense of place. With an eye for curation and a talent for translating values into experiences, Juliette built more than a store—she built a destination.
Today, she brings that same intuitive approach to her consulting work, drawing on a trusted network of collaborators, vendors, and makers throughout Vermont and New England. Whether supporting small businesses or shaping larger-scale concepts, Juliette blends strategic thinking with creative direction to help clients bring thoughtful, resonant ideas to life.
Her consulting work follows two primary paths:
Creative Refresh Consulting for shops, cafes, and small businesses seeking renewed clarity, identity, and energy.
Strategic Concept Development for mission-aligned projects that require vision, storytelling, partnerships, and community-centered design.
Juliette’s work is informed by place, but not limited by it. Her aesthetic sensibility is grounded in New England authenticity—yet equally shaped by her experience as a thoughtful, well-traveled creative. She’s currently based in Southern Vermont, where she continues to build ideas and opportunities rooted in intention and connection.
